The Band
Straight-Up Country With a Chaser of Rock-N-Roll
From chart topping country artists such as Toby Keith, Keith Urban, Brooks & Dunn, and Jason Aldean, to classic rock artists such as:
ZZ Top, Doobie Brothers, Bob Seger, Eddie Rabbit,The Beatles,
and many more. The music of The Shooters Band is popular with people of all ages.
Established in 1996, the group has been performing to audiences at local clubs and social halls in and around the Latrobe, Greensburg, Mount Pleasant , and the Pittsburgh area on a regular basis. In addition, the Band was invited to appear at Three Rivers Stadium as a Steelers Football pre-game show and as the opening act for John Berry at the State Theater in Uniontown. They were also invited to play at the Pittsburgh Post Gazette Pavilion before the Reba McEntire, Brad Paisley, Terri Clark , Toby Keith, Brooks & Dunn, Big & Rich, The Outlaws, Marshall Tucker Band, Charlie Daniels, and Rascal Flatts show.
Other honors have included being chosen as the feature band for the Latrobe 4th of July Celebration, Eat' N Park Children's Hospital Benefit, and the Z&M Harley Davidson Open House. Recently, they have performed at the Rivers and Meadows Casino.
The Band is made up of five talented musicians. Keith White leads the vocals with a powerful voice that can do it all from hard-driving country to soft sweet ballads. He will capture your full attention with his talent and personality. In addition to Keith’s vocals, The Shooters Band is proud to have four of the area's top musicians including Bruce Kush on acoustic and lead guitar, Mike Scimmi on bass guitar, Steve Hale on drums/vocals, and Roger Rush on acoustic guitar and lead/background vocals. The talent, harmonies, and sheer stage energy of these musicians combine for an awesome sound mixed and produced by soundman, Zach "Fro" Kush.
The Shooters Band is dedicated to providing quality music and entertainment at each and every performance.

Keith White
Keith has been with the Shooter’s band since 1996 and later joined Quick Change when he moved to Connecticut. He is now back in the area and is really glad to be home with the Shooter’s once again. |

Bruce Kush
Bruce is the lead guitarist that adds to the puzzle of the Shooter’s band. One of the founding members since 1996. He attributes this
because of his fellow band mates, such great friends sharing their talents. Looking forward to seeing old friends and making new ones Influences are Eric Clapton, Buddy Guy, and any good inspiring music. |

Mike Scimmi
Mike or Mr. Scimmi, as his sixth grade students refer to him has been playing bass for over 30 years. In addition to playing in local bands such as Shadowfax, Stagger Lee, Time Lapse, Missing Lynx, Route 66, and The Edge, Mike has traveled on the road with a show band called Pentagon, which performed in Atlantic City and hotel chains along the east coast... "His talent and bottom end sound drives him to the top of the class." |

Steve Hale
Steve has been performing in both Rock and Country bands throughout Western Pa, West Virginia, and Eastern Ohio since the age of 15. Past bands include: Copper Lake, Mason Dixon, High Chaparral, from Pennsylvania and Quick Silver, Ohio River Band, and T-Walks Band from Ohio. Steve has opened shows for national recording acts such as: John Berry, Bailey and the Boys, and Billy Crash Craddock. |

Roger Rush
Roger has been in various bands throughout his musical career. He started out singing with his father who has been a big influence on him, then proceeded to join the High Ryder band. From there, he decided to start his own band. After the Roger Rush Band disbanded, he joined Prairie Fire, and his most recent outing was the Last Call band. Between shows, Roger would also perform with close friends doing acoustic material. He is back to playing with close friends with the Shooters. |
